The first tip that you need to know is the perfect height. When you are calculating the height for each part, you can simply divide the height that you have for the door into two. That means the half lower part will be one door leaf and another half upper part will be the one door leaf too. This one is considerably simpler rather than calculating the height that you need for the lower part first. The next tip is using two locks on each door leaf. You need to know that each door leaf needs two to three locks. If you are using the big standard door, you will notice three locks. However, since you are using this kind of door style with two smaller door leafs; you will need four locks, two on each door leaf.
The last tip that you need to try is adding the glass element on the upper part of the Dutch door. Actually, the glass accent is not that necessary, but if you are looking for something to spice up your new door, the glass element can be something totally perfect. Therefore, you will have something as amazing as the combination of door and window that you make on your own.
